The Drawing Room is located upstairs from the main bar. It can hold up to 100 guests standing and seat up to 70.

The space is perfect for all occasions, whether it be entertaining clients, a meeting or training session or if you want to celebrate with friends or colleagues.

The room has a full audio visual set up with projector, a PA system, and a fully stocked private bar.

Great venue and nothing was too much to ask. Fantastic value for money with staff that helped us do everything we wanted

We booked a joint 30th birthday at the Marquis Cornwallis for 50 people. There were more than 50 people that turned up but the staff were fine with this. Everything was exactly as described on the profile for the venue. The team in charge of communication were very responsive leading up to the booking. When we arrived the furniture was all set up around the edge of the room with the bar staff helping us to put it in place how we wanted. We were allowed our own music which was done with an aux connection to my phone. The room is set apart from the rest of the pub with it's own bar and the staff had placed a notice on the door to ensure it was a fully private booking. Overall a great location for an event and I would 100% book again.

Toilets in mens bathroom were blocked so the ladies was turned into a unisex bathroom for the night. Not a huge issue but it did get fairly busy as this was the same bathroom used by the rest of the pub. I made a special request for gluten free options with the catering but the staff didn't know anything about that. It took a while for them to inform us which of the foods were made with gluten but it was all sorted out in the end.

Everything. The communication was great before and during. The food was fantastic. The staff were so helpful. We had multiple comments from loads of guests about how wonderful the event was

I found the staff friendly and well organised. The full bar was well stocked and working in Construction our employees like a bar to stand at. The food was lovely and everything went. The PA system was a handy bonus which our Managing Director was able to use. The evening was a success and everyone had a lovely evening. The Marquis of Cornwallis is situated in a great spot with the underground station less than a few minutes walk away. Thank you to Susan and Charlie for a great evening.

Inconvenience of other pub users causing the ladies toilets to close, although I will say that they were cleaned and reopened as soon as the staff could.
