A light airy space with natural daylight, our Upper Arch is perfect for Birthdays, Engagement parties, standing receptions or after-work drinks.

Our Upper Arch is a semi-private area on our upper floor that opens out to our main bar area shown in the background.

It has a raised area at the opposite end leading to outside with our comfy curved pink booth adding a pop of colour in the space.

To make your evening more exciting we can offer beer pong too for some added interactive fun which is £35 per game.

We also have a DJ on from 9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays playing a mix of commercial R&B, Pop, House, Disco and Club Classics (Kisstory vibe).

Seats 25 for dinner or 50 for a standing reception.

Beer Pong

£20 total

We’re one of the newest places to play Beer Pong in London town and you can book one of our Beer Pong tables for just £20 which includes everything you need for a game including the beer to play it with!

Beer Pong is available Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm onwards, plus every Tuesday you get two hours of Beer Pong for the price of one to show your friends who’s best when it comes to hitting those cups.

We have used Sama Bankside for two 30th birthdays now and both have been great! The team are so friendly, Steve is super helpful and the venue has a really fun vibe. The minimum spend is really good value considering the location and how nice the venue is! The venue do great cocktails which have been a hit on both of our groups and having a chilled music vibe with the ramp up of the dj starting at 10 makes for a perfect party vibe! Would definitely recommend this venue and the team, thank you!

Steve and the team were really helpful and flexible in preparing, setting up and looking after us on the night. One of the railway arches was perfect was 50 people and the ability to spill out into the wider area was also great.

For the location this space was great value. Steve and the team had everything organised in advance even with minor details like tables set up for shared food. The upper arch is a perfect combination of private area within a more open public setting. The outside area is also ideal for the warmer months.

Steve and Charlotte were fantastic to work with - the food and music were spot on! My leaving party was a ton of fun thanks to them! Will definitely be back to host another party if I can :)

About SAMA Bankside

The location is a twin railway arch venue set over 2 floors and is located next to Blackfriars Bridge on the south side of the river in the shadow of the OXO Tower (nearest stations are Southwark or Blackfriars).

Venue is industrial in style with exposed brickwork, a reclaimed upper wooden floor and polished concrete lower floor with chesterfield sofas, cosy booth seating in bright colours and unapologetic artwork to get your guests talking.

Space is available for booking from 6 to 300 guests. There is a bar and toilets on each floor and full catering options available.

The venue is available until 12am Monday - Thursday and until 1am Friday and Saturday.
